ROSE END MEADOWS NATURE RESERVE CROMFORD

Would you like to come and help maintain Rose End Meadows Nature Reserve one day per month between September and April, if so come and join the Reserve Manager  - Paul Robinson and a few other regular helpers (about four) to tackle a range of tasks which include:

             Scrub clearance                Photo 3    Photo 4

                    Coppicing

                    Tree felling (small trees)

                    Wall repairing

                    Hedge laying

                    Bonfire making                Photo 1    Photo 2

                    Litter clearing

All the above interspersed with tours around the Reserve to learn about the flora and fauna.

Please check with Paul before attending ( 01332 722219 especially if its your first visit.

N.B. Although the DWT Magazine and website state meet at 09:30 a.m. REM Volunteers meet at 10:00 a.m.

Please bring boots or wellies, warm clothes, food etc., as appropriate.
